Renee Brozowski is the Woods Charter School DAR Good Citizen of 2015. This award recognizes individuals who possess the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities. Renee exemplifies these attributes and sets an example of engaged citizenship for all members of the Woods community. Renee submitted an essay arguing that the First Amendment fosters diversity and inclusivity in the United States. The Davie Poplar Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will publicly commend Renee at a ceremony on December 12 in Chapel Hill.
